March Madness

We are well into March Madness, Baby! I would say the majority of the Kansas City area are Jayhawks fans, because I rarely go anywhere without seeing that funny little bird on someone's shirt, hat or car...and Lawrence is only a quick 30 minute drive from here. No matter what team you're cheering for, come to Park Place and cheer for them while enjoying great food and drinks!

The Ainsworth: This is the newest restaurant in Park Place and it is an upscale sports bar. There are TVs at every booth and situated around the restaurant so you always have a good angle. The best part is that their food isn't typical greasy bar food and their drink selection is phenomenal. This is the perfect place to gather with friends (even if they're cheering for a different team) and watch all the games!

Gordon Biersch: Need a variety of food selection and great beer to wash it down? This is your place! The menu caters to any type craving...tacos, pasta, salad, burgers and so on. The beer is always on par, but they have great cocktail and wine selections as well. Make sure to sit in the bar area to be able to watch the games.

RA Sushi: You definitely have to sit in the bar area to watch the games here, but the sushi is aaaamazing! The Happy Hour selection is wonderful and very affordable, you should probably just double up on everything you order.

Not into the games? That's OK, we have painting parties throughout the "Madness"! You can bring your own beverages too...or buy wine or beer once you arrive too. We won't be playing the games during the class, but we will have a wonderful selection of music going that will be sure to get you dancing or singing while you paint.
