Wines That Pair with Barbecue
If you are going for more of the quick cooking meats like chicken or hot dogs, a lighter style of wine will be perfect. There are plenty of Rose' wines out there that are dry and not fruity. These wines are always best served chilled.
And of course, one of my personal favorites is champagne or sparkling wine. The bubbles are always a great and clean taste for any grilling goodies. Definitely move to the top of the list for a shrimp or seafood dinner on the grill, light and airy, just like the fare. This is also perfect to pair with any grilled desserts, like grilled peaches and topped with ice cream.
But honestly, at the end of the day, drink whatever makes you happy. It all tastes good!
